It's always been a toss up for me between Deep Purple and Black Sabbath as my all-time favorite band. And to be honest it still is. Burn is one of Purple's finest albums in my opinion and also ranks as one of my all-time favs.
As previously said, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple are interchangeable as my number one favorite band. Paranoid is one of my favorite albums not only as a Sabbath album but an all-time favorite.
The early Alice Cooper albums were quite good but after 'Goes to Hell' I lost interest. 'Desperado', 'Halo of Flies', 'Under My Wheels' and 'Ballad of Dwight Frye' are all Hard Rock at its finest.
One of the finest bands ever. ELP was a band of extreme talent, superior song writing and exquisite live performances. Heavily influenced by classical music, Emerson Lake and Palmer pioneered 70's Rock.
